Before I was pregnant with Mighty, Famous constantly asked for a baby sister. When Christmas time rolled around Famous added a baby to his Christmas wish list. So, I’m trying to explain to him that even though he put a baby on his Christmas list that it won’t be wrapped in a present under the tree because it takes time to grow a baby. Famous’ response: Maybe we”ll put some baby-soil in you and then the inside of your tummy will be baby-pieces and the baby will be put together and then she’ll pop out of your belly!
Upon learning it is nearly bed time, Famous says, “You BROKE my feelings in half!”
Famous is currently lying on his bed wailing about having to take a bath so, I obliged his request and didn’t make him join his brother in the tub. Now, he’s suddenly changed his tune and wants to join the bath time festivities and I wouldn’t let him sending him into another meltdown, to which I lamented, “You should’ve thought about that before you threw a fit.” Famous’ immediate response? “WELL, YOU should just grab your face and SLAP it!” I could NOT get out of his bedroom quick enough to avoid him seeing my laughter!
